April 14, 2010
England’s TSL, a manufacturer of
audio and video monitors, tally systems,
etc, is showcasing the PAM2-3G16, a
multistandard, multiformat audio monitor.
Developed with partner Celtic Audio,
the PAM2-3G16 is designed to simplify
multichannel audio monitoring through
the use of preset menus and shortcut
keys. An OLED meter measures up to
7.1 surround sound while a video screen
provides video confidence monitoring. Dual
powered speakers are on each end of the
rackmountable 2 RU box.
Bargraph scales include VU, extended
VU, BBC PPM, EBU PPM, EBU Digital,
Nordic and DIN. Digital video is autosensed.
Up to four groups/16 channels can be deembedded.
ITU BS1770/71 loudness is used.
TSL’s MDU12-PMi is being exhibited
as well, offering an energy management
solution gives users control over and
visibility of equipment racks. A feature of
the system is the remote Ethernet control and
monitoring of 12 individually switched IEC
outputs via secure Web browser with SNMP
and e-mail alarms for fuse fail, power fail,
over/undercurrent alarm, input voltage, and
power measurement in collaboration with
16 GPI inputs.
