Lowel Debuts Blender
April 14, 2010
Lowel is introducing its Blender LED
lighting fixture, which features two sets of
LEDs, one tungsten and one daylight color
balance, which can be mixed via an onboard
controller to achieve any color temperature
output between 5000 and 3000 K.
The lamp-head’s compact (4-by-3-by-3
inches) makes it small enough to fit on a
camera, pistol grip or compact light stand.
It can be powered by AC, camcorder battery
packs, or conventional 12 V connections.
Also new are the Lowel SoftCore, a versatile
light fixture accessory for video softboxes and
TRIO, which uses high CRI (color rendering
index), daylight or tungsten color, compact
55 W fluorescent lamps for accurate color
matching with other light sources.
