Broadcast Electronics is showing new tools for its
AudioVAULT automation platform at the NAB Show.
The AudioVAULT FleX gets an improved segue editor
along with a new user interface. The new UI will allow for
customized screens for individual shows or talent.
AudioVAULT also adds tools for synchronizing
schedules and inventory across multiple AudioVAULT
sites. AudioVAULT’s logger has new metadata capabilities
including podcast, PPM and RDS metadata.
Ray Miklius, vice president, studio systems, Broadcast
Electronics said: “The
one clear trend we see in
studio operation this last
year is that broadcasters
can no longer afford to
dedicate one studio to
one purpose. Why not
distribute what they’ve
already invested in
their studios across a
number of facilities and
for a number of purposes? That’s what we hope to achieve
by these new distributed asset and integration tools for the
AudioVAULT.”
BE is also featuring a 2 kW version of the STX LP
transmitter line, the newest addition to the line of AM
and FM transmitters. The 2 kW version of the STX LP
transmitter is scalable from 1 kW to 5 kW and comes with
a built-in exciter, an emergency backup controller and IP
connectivity.
